Any views and opinions are voiced by the artists and do not represent those of people, institutions or organisations that NEoN may or may not be affiliated within a professional or personal capacity unless explicitly stated. Any views or opinions are not intended to malign any religion, ethnic group, club, organisation, or individual.

Creative Scotland logo

Creative Scotland is the public body that supports the arts, screen and creative industries across all parts of Scotland on behalf of everyone who lives, works or visits here.


The EventScotland team works to make Scotland the perfect stage for events. With partners their aim is to raise Scotland’s reputation as the perfect stage by supporting and securing a portfolio of events and developing the industry.


Community Fund and IKEA logos

Places Called Home, from The National Lottery Community Fund and IKEA UK, as part of the £1.5million pilot programme. The Places Called Home programme builds on the energy and creativity of communities coming together during the crisis to support each other and aims to inspire them to take action around healthy and sustainable living while learning from each other and building meaningful connections.

The Scottish Refugee Council is a registered charity that provides advice and services to asylum seekers and refugees. The objective of the organisation is ‘building a better future with refugees in Scotland’.


Stobswell Forum SCIO logo

Stobswell Forum SCIO are the Neighbourhood Representative Structure for Stobswell, a vibrant, inner-city area of Dundee. We’re akin to a community council, made up of local people who volunteer our time. Our mission is to improve the neighbourhood, and the lives of those who live here.

The Science and Technology Facilities Council is a United Kingdom government agency that carries out research in science and engineering, and funds UK research in areas including particle physics, nuclear physics, space science and astronomy.

Established in 1982, the Alliance Française Glasgow is part of a world-wide network and is one of eleven AF currently located in the United Kingdom. A local not-for-profit organisation, it reflects the desire to share with others the love of the French language and culture, as well as other various aspects of the French way of life.

Abertay University is a modern new university, one with a long history and have quickly become one of Scotland’s leading universities, highly ranked for academic performance.

Weave will be popping up across the city of Dundee, creating a vibrant programme of cultural events that share local and global creativity. Weave gives a platform to national and international artists and designers, creating opportunities to be inspired, make new connections and discover new things.

Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design has a world-renowned reputation for high-class teaching and research. It offers a range of courses across 11 disciplines and are also the only university in Scotland to offer a General Foundation entry course and has been ranked in the World’s Top 1 per cent by QS World University Rankings.

The Royal Society of Edinburgh is an educational charity, operating on a wholly independent and non-party-political basis and providing public benefit throughout Scotland. Established in 1783 and they have drawn upon the considerable strengths and varied expertise of Fellows, of which there are currently around 1600, who are based in Scotland, the rest of the UK and beyond.

V&A Dundee is a design museum in Dundee, Scotland, which opened on 15 September 2018. The V&A Dundee is the first design museum in Scotland and the first Victoria and Albert museum outside London.

Dundee Festival Trust was established a number of years ago with a purpose of supporting Dundee based community groups and cultural organisations which are looking to enhance their programme of cultural activity as part of a festival or event in Dundee.

New Media Scotland is the national development agency fostering artist and audience engagement with all forms of new media practice. In December 2014 Dundee was named as the UK’s first City of Design by the United Nations.

The City has been recognised by UNESCO for its diverse contributions to fields including medical research, comics and video games.

The City of Design designation has previously been awarded to 12 cities including Beijing, Berlin and Montreal.

Leisure & Culture Dundee delivers, for the citizens of Dundee, and those who visit the City, high-quality Leisure, Sporting, Cultural and Learning Experiences which contribute to their quality of life.

Creative Dundee amplifies, connects and showcases local creative talent and activities to the world. Creative Dundee believes that culture and creativity are essential catalysts for positive change. They exist to support creative talent to base, grow and sustain their practice in and around Dundee, by amplifying and connecting the city’s creativity.

Red Pepper Events is an event management company based in Dundee. Working throughout Scotland, the Red Pepper team manage all types of events from small intimate parties to large corporate functions.

Creative Carbon Scotland works on three fronts, believing that only by working across the realms of individuals, organisations and policy can real change take place. They work with artists and other individuals who are interested in how environmental sustainability connects with their work, whether they work on their own or with or for larger organisations.

Scottish Contemporary Art Network (SCAN) is a member-led network committed to championing and supporting the contemporary art sector in Scotland.

Travelling Gallery was established in 1978 and continues to bring contemporary art to communities throughout Scotland. Its dual focus is to create highly engaging exhibitions and to provide a unique platform for arts education.

Wellgate is one of the two main shopping centres located in the city centre of Dundee. The centre prides itself as a community hub, working with numerous community projects ranging from Deaflinks and Welfare Reform to the City Centre Chaplaincy who regularly meet with customers, retail and centre staff with their ‘lend an ear’ work.

Fast Labels is one of the UK’s leading label printers, having some of the most technologically advanced equipment in the country. Backed by a team with a real passion for all things label, they’ve provided thousands of medium-to-large orders in a wide range of fields, including retail, food & drink, manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries.

Dundee Science Centre helps families learn together, supports the formal school’s curriculum, advances the science communication profession, brings together science and the public. Exhibitions are open 361 days per year, providing an inspiring, hands-on learning experience for everyone to visit.

NOMAS* Projects is a four window gallery space, based in 9a Ward Rd, Dundee, run by local artists, Cully McCulloch and Owen Daily. This experimental project provides a platform for Contemporary Art in a broad range of media.

GeneratorProjects a registered charity managed by a voluntary committee. There aims are to facilitate the demands of contemporary creative talent in the city, to support the artistic community in all its diversity and to provide a varied programme of exhibitions and events featuring the work of emerging and mid-career artists across a National and International spectrum.

The List sources, gathers, manages, publishes and distributes information on events and entertainment and creates associated editorial content including recommendations, interviews, previews, reviews and features.
